The Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care will provide both a practice-based qualification for specific level 4 job roles and will act as a stepping stone towards more senior practice and management. It is particularly relevant for senior care/support staff, front line managers, assistant/deputy manager, team leader, area domiciliary care managers and senior day care workers.
This is something the sector identified as a need and that NISCC was delighted to be able to support and work with City and Guilds and the social care sector in its development and achievement.
We will continue to work closely with colleagues in the social care sector, the FE Colleges and Awarding Organisations to ensure that new and existing qualifications meet the needs of the social care workforce and importantly equips this highly motivated staff group with the training, skills and knowledge they need to provide quality care and support to the people they care and support.
