The conference focused on social workers and social care professionals working in all areas of social services – from child protection to services for people with disabilities and older people. In addition to mobility, recruitment and training, the conference explored the role of new technology for planning and training, joint work between professionals, and the workforce’s role in quality.
Colum contributed to the session titled “Bridging the digital divide, training and recruiting the future social service workforce”. Chaired by Ester Sarquella, Inter-Ministerial Plan for Integrated Health and Social Care, Government of Catalonia, Spain, the presentations included:
