If you have been selected, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Summary of your social work/social care role
- Copy of your Personal Development Plan (PDP)
- Summary of PRTL Activities Undertaken - Record of Achievement
- Personal Statement - to reflect on your learning and development
To help you complete your Audit Submission, please make sure to download a copy of the PRTL Guidance and the PRTL Recording Form relevant to your appropriate role from the NISCC website at: http://www.niscc.info/prtl-post-registration-training-and-learning
Social work registrants who in the three years preceding their renewal of registration date have accrued a minimum of one requirement or 100 Professional in Practice credits are exempt from audit and will not be included in the sample for that point.
From the December, 2017 audit point social workers called for audit who do not have previous credits/requirement in the Professional in Practice Framework have the option of enrolling for PiP on the NISCC portal and claiming a minimum of 100 credits by the hand in date.
When completed they need to advise NISCC of same, this will be assessed and may confirm exemption. Information on credit accumulation and exemption from PRTL audit can be found on our website Professional in Practice Framework .
