Family Group Conferencing Workshop

On Friday, 22 February 2019, Dr Mary Mitchell from the University of Edinburgh will facilitate a workshop entitled: ‘Exploring Fresh Understandings of Family Group Conferencing Outcomes’.

The workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to critically think about how we understand and measure outcomes in Family Group Conferencing.  It will be jointly hosted by the Family Group Conference (NI) and Queen’s University and will be of great interest to senior managers, practitioners and academics.
Dr Mitchell has over thirty years professional experience in social work and community work, with a particular emphasis on work with children, young people and families.

The workshop objectives are:

• explore Personal and Professional Outcome Frameworks,

• consider how we might begin to rethink what we understand outcomes are and how we can meaningfully capture and measure outcomes in our work,

•  action plan a way forward.

Social workers can also claim PiP Credits for attending this workshop.
