Making a complaint about the Social Care Council

We strive to provide the best possible service in all areas of our work, however we accept that sometimes we may not always get it right. When this happens we work in partnership, with you, to make it better.

What do we treat as a complaint?

We define a complaint as an expression of dissatisfaction about the way the Social Care Council work, including the conduct of our staff.

Please note, if your complaint is about a Social Worker, Social Care Worker or Social Work Student visit the page Raising a Concern at our Fitness to Practise section.

If you wish to read our Raising a concern policy – ‘whistleblowing’, please click here.

How to make a complaint

The best way to resolve most issues or complaints is to raise this directly with the member of staff who you have been in contact with, however if you have been unable to resolve your issue or complaint, then please use the Complaint Form and this will be directed to our Complaints Manager.

Please submit you Complaint Form it via:
