Care in Practice Pathways Live - Aligning children’s services to the Care in Practice Framework

Care in Practice Pathways Live is a new series of online events designed to support the registered Social Care workforce at every stage of their career.

This session focuses on how the Care in Practice Framework supports children’s services practitioners, including anticipated alignment of the Care in Practice Framework’s qualification pathway with children’s social care services.

The Care in Practice Framework sets out a clear career pathway for those entering social care, while also recognising and supporting the skills of experienced practitioners. It supports workforce retention and enhances learning and development opportunities across the social care sector.

This session will:

• Gather views from practitioners on how best to support alignment with the CiP Framework
• Provide information on the Care in Practice Framework (CiP)
• Share findings from the 2025/26 children’s services survey and practitioner engagement
