The Northern Ireland Social Care Council is delivering Care in Practice Pathways Live, a new series of online events designed to support the registered Social Care workforce at every stage of their career.
The programme brings together information sessions on the Care in Practice (CiP) Framework, career pathways, and recognised training and qualifications across social care. The sessions are aimed at social care practitioners, managers and employers enabling workforce development, progression and retention.
Through live, accessible online events, participants will:
- Gain a clearer understanding of the Care in Practice Framework and how it supports learning, development, and career progression.
- Explore how different services, including children’s social care, can align practice and workforce development with CiP.
- Learn about training routes, vocational qualifications, and leadership pathways from Levels 2 through to Level 5.
- Understand how qualifications link to job roles, responsibilities, and career progression.
Each event includes opportunities to learn from sector expertise, be informed about current developments, and ask questions relevant to the session topics.
