Discover the Department of Health Social Work Leadership Framework and new online learning opportunities with this Lunchtime Seminar which will also include new online learning modules designed to support your professional development.

This session will:

  • Provide an overview of the Department of Health Social Work Leadership Framework and an update on implementation.
  • Introduce the Leading Self and Leading Practice online learning modules.
  • Demonstrate how to access the modules and navigate the learning platform.
  • Give a flavour of the content and explain how the modules can be used to support your leadership development and reflective practice.
  • Invite discussion on future online learning for the remaining framework domains: Leading Others and Leading the Profession.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Understand the purpose and structure of the Social Work Leadership Framework.
  • Be familiar with the Leading Self and Leading Practice online modules and know how to access them.
  • Recognise how the modules can support personal and professional leadership development.
  • Have the opportunity to influence the future development of online learning resources for the framework.

All social workers with an interest in developing their leadership capability, regardless of role or career stage.
