Social Care Managers' Forum 2026

Leading safe, ethical and accountable social care services.

The autumn 2026 Social Care Managers’ Forum will take place online on Tuesday, 17 November, 10am-1pm.

The Forum will explore the role of leadership in creating safe, ethical and accountable social care services. The programme will include contributions from leaders and specialists from The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (The Social Care Council), RQIA, Health and Social Care Trusts and the independent social care sector.

Also included will be the Being Human Framework, the launch of new Safer Recruitment Guidance for Social Care Employers, continuous professional learning, workforce development, a new human rights resource for social care managers and social care research.

Delivered online, this forum provides an accessible opportunity for managers, supervisors, team leaders and others with management, leadership or workforce development responsibilities across the statutory and independent social care sectors to engage with current developments, practical resources and examples of good practice.
