Consultation - Equality and Disability Action Plans 2023-28

03 April 2023

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council, together with other HSC organisations* has today launched a consultation seeking views from the public, social care and social work professionals and health and social care sector partners on the proposed draft Equality and Disability Action Plans 2023-28. The Equality Unit in the Business Services Organisation are co-ordinating the joint consultation.

The Equality Action Plans look at actions we want to take to tackle inequalities across all equality categories. The purpose of our Disability Action Plans is to look at things we want to do to promote positive attitudes towards disabled people and encourage their participation in our work areas.
