Join us for this Lunchtime Seminar which gives an insight into children’s social workers and their experiences of wellbeing support and how it has helped them to cope with work demands.
Senior Social Worker Lauren McBride from the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, will present her research into Children’s Safeguarding Social Workers’ experience and the formal and informal wellbeing supports that helped them cope with work demands.
The study sought to clarify the availability and accessibility of wellbeing supports in the workplace to participants, elucidate what types of wellbeing supports in the workplace participants have experience of and elicit participants’ views of any benefits or challenges there are for them in engaging in wellbeing supports in their workplace.
