Lunchtime Seminar - Guidance on Supporting Social Workers: helping social workers thrive in their role

Presented by Aine Morrison, Chief Social Worker and Susan Ritchie, Professional Officer, Office of Social Services from the Department of Health, with independent consultant Carolyn Ewart, this Lunchtime Seminar provides an in-depth look at ‘Supporting Social Workers’.

This launch event will share key messages contained in both sections of the guidance, including key messages from research and supporting those social workers who experience role-related violence.

It will be of benefit to social work employers, practitioners and students.

The guidance is designed to help social work employers across Northern Ireland create environments where social workers feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
