Date: 14th May 2026
Time: 9:30am - 1pm

Whether you’re a social care manager, team leader, supervisor, service manager and/or support learning and development in the social care workforce – we’d love you to join us at our upcoming Social Care Managers’ Forums on Thursday 14 May from 9.30am – 1pm at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown.
These events are designed to support those managing social care services, including managers, supervisors, team leaders and others with management or supervisory responsibilities across the statutory and independent sectors. The sessions will share practical insights, policy updates and real‑world examples to support recruitment, retention and workforce resilience.
The events will include input on AI and innovation in social care, a review of current employer supervision policy and practice, and employer perspectives highlighting what is working locally. Interactive group sessions will provide opportunities to explore effective supervision, recruitment and retention approaches with peers.
The forums will also include a Care in Practice (CiP) Framework update, covering qualifications, apprenticeships and traineeships, continuous professional learning, children’s services alignment, and available resources and upcoming events.
Each event concludes with lunch and an opportunity for networking.
We very much hope you can join us for this informative and collaborative session.
