
The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) is recruiting for a Temporary (12-month contract) Business Support Team Leader (Band 4).
The post holder will be responsible for the overall efficient and effective day to day operation of the Business Support unit, and for a range of secretariat and executive administrative arrangements to support the Social Care Council in discharging its business. They will act as a point of contact for the Social Care Council with external organisations, senior officers within the Social Care Council, Board members, the Department of Health, and the Social Care Council’s Partnerships.
Specific responsibilities will rest with the post holder for organising events in support of the Social Care Council and delivering high level quality support across the organisation. The postholder must ensure requisitions are managed in accordance. with FReM and operate within the governance framework in supporting the organisation. The postholder will be required to work under limited supervision at times and be able to demonstrate their flexibility, creativity and be responsive to last minute/urgent requests for design material. As part of a professional team they will be required to work both independently and collaboratively with a strong team focus.

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) is recruiting for Professional in Practice (PiP) Support Officer (band 4)
The Professional in Practice (PiP) Support Officer will have responsibility for the efficient and effective support of the administrative functions associated with the PiP Framework.
The postholder will be required to provide efficient and effective day to day operational support across the full range of provision within the PiP Framework.
These include:
· Implementing and maintaining operating systems, maintaining a high standard of data quality as expected of an Awarding Body, and being responsible for producing work to a high standard.
· Act as a point of contact for the Social Care Council with partner organisations. Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.
· Responsibility for the organising of meetings and events in support of the Social Care Council’s delivery of the PiP Framework and the delivery of high level quality support to social workers, employers, academics and the wider Social Care Council.
· The postholder will be required to work independently, under limited supervision at times, and be able to demonstrate their professionalism, flexibility and creativity, including being responsive to last minute/urgent requests for information or support.
