The Social Work Registrant Engagement Group (SW Reg) is an opportunity for registered social workers and social work students in Northern Ireland to come together, network, collaborate and inform the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council).
This group drives co-production across the social work sector, helping to improve the work of the Social Care Council’s core functions.
What is the Social Work Registrant Engagement Group?
The group is a forum open to all registered social workers and social work students in Northern Ireland and hosted by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
It meets quarterly in different locations across Northern Ireland. It is an opportunity for social workers and students to engage directly with their regulator, stay informed about key issues and developements and network with their peers across the sector.
More importantly, it gives social workers and social work students the opportunity to share ideas and experience from their own practice with a wider social work audience, contributing to future policy and practice.
