Care Home Managers are invited to submit an expression of interest for the My Home Life (NI) Leadership Support & Quality Improvement Programme starting in Autumn/Winter 2022.
Over a 10 month period the programme will offer 20 Care Home Managers the opportunity to be guided by professional MHL (My Home Life) facilitators to advance their skills, engage with evidence-based, relationship-centred practice, and resolve the very complex issues they face on a regular basis. The aim of the Programme is to offer Care Home Managers ‘time out’ and a safe space to reflect upon their role, their professional practice and engage in a ‘journey’ of increased positive culture change within their own homes.
The Leadership Support & Quality Improvement Programme begins with a four-day introductory workshop (2 x 2 days), followed by eight action learning sessions. The venue will be arranged to minimize travel time and on the advice of previous care home managers, some of the sessions will be online.
