Over 200 guests joined the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Deprivation of Liberty Lunchtime Seminar on 28 September 2021. Hosted by the Social Care Council a range of experts and MCA advisors (Phil Hughes MBE , MCA Professional Advisor; Karen Harvey, RQIA; Diane Williams, NHSCT and Steph Kerr, BHSCT) presented information on decision making forums that have been established and the tools that have been developed to support staff.
