Lunchtime Seminar - NSPCC and Childline: offers, supports and direct services to children, young people and families

Join Angelina McNally, Partnership Service Manager with the NSPCC, alongside NSPCC Team Managers (Registered Social Workers), for our latest Lunchtime Seminar exploring the support and direct services provided by the NSPCC and Childline to children, young people and families.

This seminar will provide an overview of the NSPCC’s role in protecting children and supporting families, and how its services, resources and learning opportunities can support social work and social care practice. The session will be relevant to practitioners, students and managers, as well as others with an interest in safeguarding and supporting children and families.

Angelina and NSPCC Team Managers will cover:

An introduction to the NSPCC, including its vision, priorities and role, with links to social work and social care practice.

NSPCC Hub locations and the evidence‑based services available to children and families.

An overview of Childline and the NSPCC Helpline, including opportunities and supports for practice.

Preventative and local campaigns, including Talk PANTS.

The NSPCC Schools Service universal offer.

Volunteering opportunities with the NSPCC.

NSPCC Learning and its value for ongoing learning and professional development.
