The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) have announced June’s Social Care Managers’ Forums.
The two forums, taking place on 3 and 5 June 2025, will focus on ‘Elevating Excellence in Social Care’.
The programme for these events will include guest speakers from the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman, the Disclosure and Barring Service and the Department of Health.
The events will also feature updates on the National Occupational Standards 2025 review and the new Care Practice Certificate framework – including the launch of the new interactive CiP web resource.
You will also hear about good practice principles when employing international workers.
The Social Care Managers’ Forums take place twice a year with two dates in two different locations to facilitate maximum attendance from social care managers and those who supervise social care staff and services.
These in-person events provide great opportunities to come together,network, share experiences and gain valuable knowledge to enhance social care practice.
The Social Care Managers’ Forums are a popular event each year, with spaces filling fast. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
