This week the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) will be doing technical work on its websites as it transitions to a new support model.
The Social Care Council has a number of websites including:
- the main website (https://niscc.info/), and
- three subdomains:
- the Learning Zone (https://learningzone.niscc.info/)
- CiP Interactive Web resource (https://careinpractice.niscc.info/), and
- Digital Skills for Social Work (https://digitalskillssw.niscc.info/).
To facilitate a new support provider this week, updates will be taking place across these sites. While it is expected the process will be straightforward, there may be short periods where users notice changes to how these websites look or perform, or experience intermittent disruption.
The Social Care Council wants to reassure all users — including registrants, employers, and members of the public — that every effort is being made to minimise any disruption and that the move is designed to improve the long-term reliability of our digital services.
The way registrants and employers currently access online services through their ‘My Portal’ account will not be affected.
