We were delighted to be invited by Alan and his wife Rosaleen to join them in their back garden to enjoy some Christmas carol singing organised by Rosaleen and her social care practitioner Hélène.
Hélène, who works for Home Instead and some of her friends have been visiting gardens and driveways over the past two weeks singing carols and providing some much needed Christmas cheer to the people she supports.
We went along to meet Alan, Rosaleen and Hélène and to find out more.
