Arrangements for when you might have to visit our office.

25 April 2023

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) services are all available online. However, if someone needs to attend the Council’s new office building in person they will need to make an appointment.

If you are a member of the public, a registrant or an employer and need to meet with someone to discuss any registration-related query, please submit a request here or send an email providing details of the issue, along with a name and contact phone number to: appointments@niscc.hscni.net.

If you attend without an appointment you may have to wait or, in some cases, might not be seen.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

It is often the case that with an email or phone call out to you, Social Care Council staff will be able to provide help or resolve a query quickly and without the need for a visit to the Council’s offices.

System alert – Public Facing Register

We are aware of a technical issue affecting a number of registrants who are unable to view their registration status on the Public Register Facing Register (the Register). Employers are also experiencing this when they are using the Register to look up the details of registrants. We are working to resolve this. Affected registrants should continue to work whilst their record on the Register is updated. If any further information is required by an individual registrant or employer, please email: registration@niscc.hscni.net.
