DoH Training and Support Funding - Voluntary and Community Adult / Family Services - APPLY NOW

Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations from the Adult/Family Sector can apply for funding from the Department of Health, Training Support Programme (TSP) for the 2023/24 financial year.

The TSP has access to a limited budget and applicant organisations from the Adult/Family sector should restrict any requests for funding in 2023/24 to the achievement of QCF/RQF qualifications only and, subject to budgetary availability, Training Initiative events.

Funding from the TSP is capped at a maximum of £10,000 per applicant organisation and the accounting and reporting requirements are set out in the Guidance.  Funding will only be considered for actual course fees.

Any organisations that received funding in the 2022/23 financial year, should have already submitted their final report on spending to the Department.  Funding for the 2023/24 financial year cannot be considered if this is not the case.


Applications for funding from the Training Support Programme 2023/24 must be submitted by e-mail to the Office of Social Services, oss@health-ni.gov.uk by Friday 30 June 2023.  Please note that the deadline for receipt of completed Training Support Programme applications has ben extended until Friday 14 July 2023. It will not be possible to consider late applications.

The offer of funding is dependent on a budget for this purpose being allocated to the Office of Social Services.

System alert – Public Facing Register

We are aware of a technical issue affecting a number of registrants who are unable to view their registration status on the Public Register Facing Register (the Register). Employers are also experiencing this when they are using the Register to look up the details of registrants. We are working to resolve this. Affected registrants should continue to work whilst their record on the Register is updated.
