The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) invites all social care practitioners in Northern Ireland to engage around developments in social care workforce reform.

As a socil care practitioner, you can help bring this vision to life by engaging with us, providing your experiences and feedback.
Discover the journey so far in social care workforce reform and examine the next steps, including the Care in Practice Framework which was launched alongside the Social Care Workforce Strategy in December 2024.
The Social Care Council will also present an update on the review of Health and Social Care Qualifications, including the Level 2 Safe and Effective Practice Certificate, now available to social care practitioners.
