The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (Social Care Council) is recruiting for a Professional Adviser to join the Workforce Development team.
As a senior officer, you will work at a strategic level, providing, advice, guidance and support to registrants, employers, committees and government departments.
You will have a degree in social work and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of social work and social care standards which provide benchmarks for safe and effective practice in a senior role.
You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and implement regional strategy, policy and guidance to support improvement in workforce standards, qualifications and practice.

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council), in partnership with the Department of Health, is currently recruiting to fill three non-executive director vacancies on its board.
The positions available are for one registrant, one stakeholder and one lay Board member.
Each non-executive Board Member is expected to be actively involved in the strategic direction of the Social Care Council, whilst actively participating in quarterly meetings.
