On Wednesday 27th July the Social Care Council welcomed Dr Barq Al-Dmour, Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development, and senior members from the Ministry, who were in Northern Ireland for a study visit. The delegation discussed the professionalisation of social work in Jordan, and representatives of the Social Care Council gave a presentation on the work of the Council.
