Planned maintenance - My Portal

As part of our ongoing maintenance and improvement program, the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) applies upgrades and enhancements to our online systems as part of regular maintenance.

Due to a planned system maintenance on ‘My Portal’, our online services for anyone who wishes to start, progress or submit an application for registration will not be able to.

These services will resume Wednesday 16 October 2024.

During this time our phonelines will remain open to provide general guidance and advice should registrants and employers have any concerns or issues.  The advisory line is available by calling 028 9536 2600. Registrants, employers and endorsers can also continue to use the dedicated registration email: registration@niscc.hscni.net.

Thank you for your patience whilst we continue to work to improve our systems for our registrants.


System alert – Public Facing Register

We are aware of a technical issue affecting a number of registrants who are unable to view their registration status on the Public Register Facing Register (the Register). Employers are also experiencing this when they are using the Register to look up the details of registrants. We are working to resolve this. Affected registrants should continue to work whilst their record on the Register is updated. If any further information is required by an individual registrant or employer, please email: registration@niscc.hscni.net.
