Social Care Council restricted phone line service up to 7 February

Due to a period of industrial action this week and to support a move to new premises, our registration phone lines will be operating a restricted service from today until 7 February 2023. This does not affect our online portal services and registrants should continue to make payments of fees or submit renewal applications online Social Care Council Portal.

Changes to our normal daily line opening times (Monday to Friday from 10am-12pm and from 2pm-4pm) are as follows:

• Reduced Service Thursday 26January 2023 from 10am-12pm and from 2pm-4pm.
• Lines open 10am-12pm only Friday 27 January 2023 and closed from 2pm-4pm.
• Lines closed all day on Wednesday 1 February 2023 and Monday 6 February 2023.

During this time, you can still contact us via our online enquiry form.

System alert – Public Facing Register

We are aware of a technical issue affecting a number of registrants who are unable to view their registration status on the Public Register Facing Register (the Register). Employers are also experiencing this when they are using the Register to look up the details of registrants. We are working to resolve this. Affected registrants should continue to work whilst their record on the Register is updated. If any further information is required by an individual registrant or employer, please email: registration@niscc.hscni.net.
