The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) have announced this autumn’s Social Care Managers’ Forums.
The two forums, taking place on 13 and 19 November 2024, will focus on ‘Resetting the dial – care and support in practice.’
The programme for this year’s events will include guest speakers from the Alzheimer’s Society, Department for Communities (DfC) Employers Services, an update on the National Occupational Standards review and outcomes from the Level 2 Safe and Effective Care Practice Certificate pilot – which is a significant part of the social care workforce reform agenda.
The Social Care Managers’ Forums take place twice a year with two dates in two different locations to facilitate maximum attendance from social care managers and/or those who supervise social care staff and services.
These in-person events are the perfect chance for social care managers and supervisors to come together, share experiences, and gain valuable knowledge to enhance their practice.
The Social Care Managers’ Forums are a popular event each year, with spaces filling fast. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
