The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) are pleased to share exciting new Lunchtime Seminars available to you in the coming months.
You’ve probably heard of Lunchtime Seminars before – they are online learning sessions for the social care and social work workforce, or others working in health and social care. They focus on skills training, sharing best practice or professional development hosted by sector representatives, researchers and experts, including people with lived experiences. They are always planned around lunchtime.
The current lineup of Lunchtime Seminars includes:
- The Supervision ‘Lotus’ – a new tool for reflective supervision
- Developing trauma informed organisations – NI update and a new toolkit
- Supporting LGBTQ+ children and young people
- Meetings of Understanding – resolving differences with positive conversations
- Residential staff’s perspective on the model of attachment practice
