Homelessness Awareness Panel
Thank you for your interest, however this event has now exceeded capacity
Gerry Skelton MBE, with the support of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) has revived his Homelessness Awareness Panel (HAP) event, which will take place as part of Northern Ireland’s Homelessness Awareness Week 2024 (2-8 December) and is inviting you to be part of it.
The theme for this year’s Homelessness Awareness Panel is:
‘Homelessness: Moving from temporary to permanent accommodation’, in social work education, training, practice, and governance.
This event is bringing together a panel of speakers from across the social work and homelessness network, sharing a mixture of professional and personal experiences, insights and suggestions for practice improvement.
Who is this event for?
This event will be of considerable interest to those involved in social work and social care, whether at academic, policy, practice, managerial or regulatory levels. This is an opportunity to hear from a range of quality panelists, showcase best practice; and offer support and resources to those working in this important arena.
Spaces are limited and attendance must be confirmed asap, with spaces allocated on a first reply basis.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Gerry Skelton, MBE
