The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (Social Care Council) is seeking lay chairs, social care members and lay members to join our Registration and Fitness to Practise Committees.
You will have the ability to understand, evaluate and form judgements about complex information to make fair decisions.
You will work well in a team and communicate your views clearly and concisely.
As Chair, you will need to have at least three years’ experience of chairing meetings, hearings or tribunals governed by statutory rules and orders.
The Social Care Council will provide you with training on the rules and processes you must apply in each of the Committees.
