The Service User & Carer Involvement in Social Work Education – Good Practice Guide’ is now available and will be of interest to social workers in all settings, and service users and carers who contribute to social work education.

This document has been developed in partnership with service users, representatives from Further and Higher Education Institutions and from statutory and third sector social work organisation’s to provide guidance in promoting Service User and Carer involvement in the Degree in Social Work. The guidance highlights the shared responsibilities of all social workers across FHEIs and social work agencies to engage potentially interested service users and support them to make informed decisions about their contributions and involvement.
