Resilience within Social Workers

Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust are staging the second in a series of events focusing on the development of resilience within Social Work students, practitioners and managers.

Findings from relevant local and contemporary research undertaken by candidates on Social Work post qualifying programmes within the Professional in Practice Framework will be shared at the event.
  
DATE: Wednesday, 28 November 2018, 2pm - 4.30pm
VENUE: Rm G026, No.6 College Park, Queen’s University Belfast
 
Presenters include:
 
1. Jane Hindes, SEHSCT Research presentation will focus on risk factors and developing resilience in pre-birth assessments.
 
2. Simon Darby, CLIC Sargent  Research presentation will focus on the building of resilience with service users during treatment periods.
 
3. Robby Nelson, SEHSCT  Research presentation will focus on the development of emotional intelligence in SW students pre and post PLO.  
 
Numbers are limited to 25 per Trust, plus a further 25 places for Queen’s Social Work students.
